Sales Forecasting for Retail
Led a team of 3 in a capstone project to architect and deploy an end-to-end sales forecasting application. Engineered an interactive web dashboard and integrated MLflow for experiment tracking and reproducibility.
Job Market Insights Analysis
Collaborated in a team to analyze, clean, and compare the job markets in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. I was responsible for extracting real-time data and generating actionable insights for the Saudi market.
Applied Machine Learning Models
Executed complete data science workflows to build and evaluate various predictive models. Implemented Regression, KNN, SVM, and Neural Networks, focusing on hyperparameter tuning and performance assessment using metrics like R-Squared and Precision/Recall.
Clinic-Rag-Bot (Medical AI assistant)
▪️Improved trusted-source retrieval quality to 0.90 similarity by building a PubMedBERT + ChromaDB RAG pipeline
restricted to verified medical sources.
▪️Enabled reliable online and offline assistant operation by integrating Groq and local Qwen2.5 0.5B models into an
asynchronous Telegram deployment.
▪️Reduced unsafe responses by implementing symptom screening and urgent-care escalation guidance.
DimensionReduction-App
▪️Reduced 561 → 110 features by applying variance/correlation filtering and Group-wise PCA, achieving an 80.4%
dimensionality reduction while retaining 96%+ explained variance.
▪️Improved SVM CV accuracy from 96.22% → 97.62% by optimizing feature-reduction parameters and SVM
hyperparameters with Optuna, gaining 1.4 percentage points.
▪️Achieved 92.20% hold-out test accuracy by validating the optimized SVM pipeline on 2,947 unseen samples,
demonstrating strong generalization
